Please, please join us as we celebrate the stunning Ms. Trudy!   Learn more about her absolutely amazing journey below!!  Thank you for your service!image1

How did you feel about your body and your fitness journey before Joining Fit, Fyne & Fabulous?
Before joining FFF, I felt discouraged because I felt like I was on a never ending roller coaster. Each time I was able to workout regularly, something would interrupt it. I was having a lot of stress, low self-esteem and occasional depression. I suffered from stressed induced seizures or Psychogenic non-epileptic Seizures(PNES), insomnia, and occasional binge eating. Exercise and clean eating has improved all of these symptoms significantly. My seizures ceased and my confidence has returned.

How many pounds and inches did you lose with FFF, and how do you feel about your body and your fitness journey now?
I lost 4lbs and over 3 inches off my waist ALONE! (135lbs to 131lbs) (33″ to 29 1/2″) .
I feel great and grateful. I still have a long way to go but I have more energy and more confidence. I was down sooo low and working towards a goal with people like me and those who have surpassed me was wonderful. Inspiring co- workers and friends has been a priceless reward for me. My fitness journey will never end but knowing that I’m not alone makes the trip so much more enjoyable.

What is your favorite NSV or Non Scale Victory?
Getting rid of my IBS with Constipation. Since trying the 21 Day Fix, eating clean and drinking Shakelogy smoothies, I have felt terrific. No more daily gastritis or 5 trips to the bathroom for 30 minutes at a time. My #1 victory is controlling my PNES- psychogenic non-Epileptic Seizures. These are caused by severe psychological stress… Mine caused me to be hospitalized for 2 days, take anti-depressants, and attend intense therapy. Daily workouts and constant motivation are all self-esteem boasters and stress relievers. I’ve only had one episode the past 5 weeks!!  At there worse I’ve had 15 in 21 days!!  I’m grateful.

What is your favorite clean eating recipe you’ve learned while being a part of FFF?
Roasted Brussel sprouts and red sweet grapes!!

Is there anything you would like to share with women who are on the fence about starting their journey? Anything you would like to leave them with, a quote or any final words of motivation?

Starting is the most difficult part. Not receiving immediate gratification makes it difficult to start or continue but don’t quit.

The fabulous Diva coaches at FFF will be with you every step of the way. Holding you accountable and keeping you motivated to succeed.

Say Yes to a new you, say Yes to a healthier you.

Thank you all so much and thank the Lord for giving me the strength to press on thru these last 3 years. His grace has truly carried me thru when I didn’t deserve it. We all have struggles, seen and unseen. Your mind is such a powerful thing, you may think you’re ok but your mind says, “no Honey, WE are not”. PNES is frightening because unlike epilepsy you are conscious the entire time and the more you get upset the worse an episode can be. Thanks so much FFF coaches for not only showing my glory, but sharing my story. God won’t put more in you than you can handle Sisters!!! Please remember that and if nothing else, give thanks and ask for strength.

Praise God for you and your testimony, Trudy! Sometimes we feel that our bodies betray us when our plans get derailed by illness and setbacks, but you demonstrate the power of healing food choices. Regular exercise and self-care provide your body with the prescription for wellness. So happy for you and your daughter…and I love your “matching” uniforms!
Thank you for your service. Continued prayers for you on this journey.
